Dollar General stores are seeking a skilled Perishable Department Supervisor to oversee produce, meat, dairy, and bakery sections, ensuring freshness, pricing accuracy, and strong customer service.

You will assist the Store Manager in maintaining safe operations, managing stock, training associates, and upholding company policies, while protecting assets and driving profitable merchandising.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using daily tools and order guides.
• Train associates in merchandising, freshness, and pricing standards.
• Ensure safe handling of food and compliance with regulations.
• Record inventory and support customer service needs.
