Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in maintaining accurate perishable stock levels using specified tools.
• Train associates in proper stocking, freshness, and pricing standards for perishable areas.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customers' needs are addressed efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain sanitation standards and ensure food handling compliance.
