Job summary

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of supervisory experience preferred.
Previous lead or grocery store experience preferred.
Local/state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Manage Perishable Departments (produce, meats, dairy, bakery) and ensure fresh, safe perishable stock.
Maintain inventory levels and plan-to-gram compliance to protect margins.
Train assigned associates on presentation, freshness and pricing standards.
Ensure safety, sanitation and policy compliance across perishables.
Record inventory levels and perishable markdowns; analyze causes and take corrective action.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to customers' needs promptly.
