Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience; lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume and tools.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, and pricing standards.
• Ensure safe handling of food per rules and regulations.
• Assist in scheduling coverage and workflow with Store Manager.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes for corrective action.
• Ensure perishable departments meet sanitation standards.
