Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for pricing and inventory.
• Ability to learn cash register functions and generate reports.
• Ability to review operating statements and identify trends and loss control opportunities.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Maintain correct perishable stock levels using store tools and guides.
• Train associates in freshness, pricing, and proper handling of perishable products.
• Record perishable inventory levels and markdowns, and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely and helpful manner.
• Support sanitation standards and safety training across Perishable departments.
