Job summary

You will lead training for associates on presentation, pricing, and safety while maintaining sanitation standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing scheduling coverage, monitoring performance, and supporting the Store Manager to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cash deposit control.
• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices in a retail environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Perishable Departments including Produce, Meat, Dairy, and Bakery to ensure freshness and presentation.
• Maintain accurate perishable stock levels aligned with store volume and guidelines.
• Train associates on product presentation, safety, and pricing standards.
• Monitor compliance with sanitation and food handling regulations.
• Assist Store Manager in scheduling coverage and achieving hourly recovery standards.
• Record markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
