Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Perishables Lead to supervise the produce, meat, dairy, bakery, and related departments under the Store Manager. You will focus on inventory accuracy, merchandising, pricing standards, and delivering friendly customer service while maintaining safe, compliant operations.

You will train associates, review stock levels, and assist with loss prevention and store procedures to ensure efficient, profitable performance of the perishable sections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in retail and supervision preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise perishable departments including produce, meat, dairy, and bakery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and appealing merchandising.
