Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and percentages.
• Ability to learn and perform cash register functions to generate reports.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to read plan-o-gram and follow merchandising guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity through cash accountability and security practices.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using specified order guides and rotation plans.
• Train associates on presentation, freshness, and pricing in perishable areas.
• Record inventory levels and perishable markdowns, analyze causes, and take corrective action.
• Ensure customers’ needs are addressed promptly and maintain sanitation standards.
