Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Perishable Manager to oversee Bakery, Deli, Meat/Seafood and Produce departments.

This role drives daily store operations, schedules, and customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate pricing, inventory control, and compliance with safety standards. The Perishable Manager partners with Store Manager and Regional Trainers to optimize product placement, merchandising, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Degree in business, management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, liberal arts preferred.
• Experience and/or exposure to perishable departmental operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and maintains good customer relations.
• Responsible for all perishable departments (Bakery, Deli, Meat/Seafood, Produce).
• Manages perishable inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering to meet customer needs and gross profit goals.
• Assists Store Manager with health, safety and sanitation compliance.
• Forecasts, schedules, and monitors labor to align with sales and productivity guidelines.
• Directs training of perishable department team members to reduce turnover and control labor costs.
• Maintains department records and ensures proper merchandise display and stock levels.
