Stop & Shop is seeking a highly motivated Perishable Manager to oversee daily operations across Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce and Bake Shop departments in Jersey City. The role emphasizes achieving sales goals, maintaining safety standards, and developing a high-performing team.

You will lead training, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional customer service and a well-stocked store for shoppers.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.

• Proven ability to train and develop perishable department staff.
• Focus on sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce and Bake Shop departments.
• Drive sales and profit targets while maintaining high sanitation standards.
• Direct training and development plans for perishable team members.
• Coach and provide feedback to improve department performance and labor costs.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and timely stock replenishment.
• Address employee issues and uphold labor policies and regulations.
