Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a claims specialist to manage OS&D issues for perishable cargo, analyzing root causes and communicating findings to management. You will collect evidence, investigate claims, and maintain comprehensive records while coordinating with logistics, operations, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 years perishable commodity OS&D/cargo claims experience or equivalent in customer service within transportation.
• Carmack Amendment knowledge preferred.
• Certified Claims Processor (CCP) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Address overage, shortage, and damage issues; research root causes and resolutions.
• Capture data and collect evidence for claims including documents, images, and verbal communications.
• Investigate product claims for customers, shippers, and consignees.
• Maintain records of claims, documents, evidence, and dispositions.
• Collaborate with logistics, warehouse ops, partners, and customers for timely information and dispositions.
• Take after-hours calls to assist operations, partners, drivers, and customers.
• Generate OS&D reports and data entry.
• Work with other departments to identify trends and corrective actions.
