AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. seeks a Cargo Claim Prevention Manager to implement methods and standards for preventing cargo loss and damage across a regional geography.

The role supports service center OS&D and operations, improves efficiency, and mitigates claim liability through training and process controls. Responsibilities include guiding loading practices, bill control, and timely disposition of affected freight while collaborating with executive leadership to identify root causes and

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Transportation, Logistics or related area.
• Experience in operations management or supervision.
• Preferably OS&D and/or claims prevention experience in transportation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and OS&D programs.
• Familiarity with cargo claims liability and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support OS&D and operations personnel in handling high value shortages and damages.
• Ensure compliance with OS&D, claims and prevention policies.
• Train and support service center personnel on loading and freight handling techniques.
• Guide bill control functions to reduce exposure to lost freight claims and improve efficiency.
• Manage disposition of over, astray, refused, and salvage freight.
• Identify deficiencies in dock, P&D, and administrative operations affecting OSD.
• Analyze trends in OS&D activities to reduce costs and improve service.
