Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, seeks a customer service/logistics specialist to support OS&D procedures and shipments in a fast-paced team.

Assist operations, customers, and shippers to resolve lost or damaged freight, investigate shortages, and manage documentation. Drive process improvements and teamwork to meet department goals.

Attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required to excel in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in customer service or logistics.
• Proven ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Roadtex terminals and warehouse teams to follow OS&D procedures.
• Coordinate with operations, customer service, and shippers to resolve freight issues.
• Investigate shortages; gather evidence and document results.
• Manage disposition of on-hand shipments and refusals; update Roadvision.
• Communicate proactively and build relationships with assigned accounts.
• Perform routine duties with minimal supervision per procedures.
• Adopt Roadtex/Echo technology to improve efficiency.
• Support team efforts to meet department goals.
