Job summary

Arrive Logistics, a North American transportation and technology company, seeks an analytical Claims Analyst for the Arrive Fresh division. You will manage a portfolio of perishable cargo claims, using PACA, Carmack Amendment, and USDA insights to protect financial interests while serving customers and carriers.

You’ll investigate temperature-controlled freight issues, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with Legal, Carrier Sales, and Operations Risk to minimize losses and ensure compliant

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cargo claims management experience, with emphasis on 3PL/freight brokerage or cargo insurance environments.
• Deep knowledge of perishable freight laws and standards: Carmack Amendment, PACA, USDA, FSMA.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of Arrive Fresh cargo claims from filing to final resolution with accurate, compliant outcomes.
• Investigate and resolve temperature-controlled freight claims involving deviations, transit delays, and shelf-life concerns within PACA/FSMA guidelines.
• Negotiate and settle cargo loss, damage, shortage, and contamination claims with stakeholders within authority levels.
• Coordinate salvage, redistribution, or disposal to mitigate losses and ensure food-safety compliance.
• Collect and validate claim documentation to build defensible positions for recovery and subrogation.
• Reconcile claim-related receivables/payables and secure releases or assignments of rights.
• Track claims data to identify risks and trends for leadership review.
