Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or surgical technology certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in sterile technique and perioperative patient care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis during procedures.
• Organizes supplies and equipment for the department.
• Facilitates communication between units and nursing staff.
• Documents patient information accurately in records.
• Prepares patients for transport and assists with room turnover.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR team to prep trays.
