Job summary

VHC Health is seeking an OR Scrub Technician to support perioperative care by preparing the OR, equipment, instrumentation and supplies. The role reports to the circulating RN and collaborates with the team to meet department goals.

Required to be a Licensed Surgical Technologist in Virginia with BLS; a Surgical Technology certification is preferred and one year of scrub experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of scrub experience is preferred.
• Licensed Surgical Technologist by the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR environment, equipment, instrumentation and supply utilization.
• Support the circulating RN and align with department goals and patient care standards.
