SCA Health in Minnesota is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU role. You will assess patients’ preoperative and postoperative status, monitor cardiovascular, respiratory, and other systems, and develop individualized plans of care.

You will implement the plan, provide safe medication administration, communicate status during handoffs, educate patients and families, and ensure dignity and privacy.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Medical / surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standings; BLS/BCLS within 90 days.
• ACLS within 90 days; PALS if pediatric care included within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Interpret information from monitors.
• Describe physiology and pathophysiology related to procedures.
• Develop and implement an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand-off reports to team members.
• Protect patient rights, dignity, and privacy; ensure safety and quality.
