SCA Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU role. You will assess patients pre- and post-operatively, interpret monitor data, and collaborate on perianesthesia care plans to support safe, efficient recovery.

The position emphasizes applying discharge criteria, providing pain and discomfort management, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care across the perioperative continuum.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state nursing license in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Interpret data from monitors and manage airway and hemodynamics.
• Apply discharge criteria and plan post-anesthesia care.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide nursing interventions to ensure patient safety and comfort in PACU.
