Job summary

SCA Health in Minnesota is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the PreOp PACU to support perioperative care across our ambulatory setting. You will assess patients pre- and post-operatively, monitor cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurologic status, and implement individualized plans of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Medical / surgical nursing experience.
• Current state licensure to practice as an RN.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess preoperative and postoperative status at intervals per policy.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe pathophysiology as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia care plans.
• Administer medications safely using the 8 rights and document care.
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
