Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in PreOp PACU to support perioperative care in a Florida facility. You will evaluate preoperative and postoperative status, implement perianesthesia plans, and ensure safe patient care across multiple care dimensions.

The role emphasizes adherence to core values, quality outcomes, and collaborative teamwork within a network of ambulatory centers. A current nursing license and PACU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience is required.
• Medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing is required; ACLS and possibly PALS certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies across systems.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care and implement it.
• Provide hand-off reports to teammates with relevant patient information.
• Ensure safe medication administration and infection prevention throughout care.
