MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the operating room team. The role covers intraoperative care, scrubbing and circulating on cases, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and collaboration with surgeons and staff.

Strong communication and adherence to perioperative standards are essential. The ideal candidate holds an Iowa RN license, BLS certification, and OR experience; BSN is preferred.

Formación

• Must hold Iowa RN license at hire; may require multi-state license within 12 months.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Experience in operating room settings is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Scrubs and circulates on surgical cases as part of the OR team.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety in perioperative care.
• Communicate with patient, families, and staff effectively.
• Document perioperative care and outcomes in the medical record.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and meetings.
