MercyOne Medical Group in Clive, IA, is seeking a skilled perioperative RN to provide intraoperative care in scrub and circulating roles. The position requires call, weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled, with full-time daytime shifts in a busy operating room.

Candidates must hold a current RN license and BLS certification, with OR experience preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for delivering safe, patient-centered perioperative care across age groups.

Qualifications

• Current or compact state RN license (Iowa preferred).
• Basic Life Support (AHA/BLS) within 6 weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently.
• Prepares for surgical cases and anticipates needs of OR team.
• Maintains aseptic technique and safe environment for patient and staff.
• Documents patient data and nursing assessments; communicates with team.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and supports turnover between cases.
• Participates in orientation and training of new staff; assists in resource maintenance.
