Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group is seeking a perioperative registered nurse to provide intraoperative care in scrub and circulating roles. The role serves diverse age groups and requires call, weekends, nights and holidays as scheduled.

Candidate must hold an Iowa RN license, have OR experience preferred, and obtain BLS within six weeks of hire. English literacy and mandatory reporting training are also required as part of patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current or compact state RN license required in Iowa.
• OS/OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification within six weeks of hire.
• English language literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases and anticipates needs of team and patient.
• Maintains aseptic technique to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Documents surgical data and participates in room turnover.
