TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support perioperative care in a busy operating room. You will evaluate patients pre‑op, educate families, prepare medications, and participate in site verification and safety protocols.

The role requires active RN licensure, an Associate Degree, and ACLS/BCLS competencies within specified timelines, with prior Surgical Services experience preferred. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) licensure is required.
• Surgical Services experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients before surgery and plan perioperative care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist with surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during shift.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and surgical staff to ensure safety and quality care.
