Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients (IV therapy, preoperative medications, site verification).
• Participate in surgical site verification, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons, surgical technologists and other team members.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document care provided.
• Educate patients and families about medical condition, treatment, and follow-up.
