Qualifications

• RN licensure required and active.
• Associate Degree in nursing or equivalent.
• OR Circulating experience REQUIRED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures.
• Prepare patients, including IV therapy and preoperative medications.
• Assist with surgical site verification and universal protocol adherence.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered perioperative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and technicians in a dynamic team.
• Apply nursing process and critical thinking to deliver safe care.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes.
