Qualifikationen

• Must hold a California RN license (unencumbered).
• BSN or MSN required.
• Current BLS certification from Red Cross or AHA.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience (scrub/circulate orthopedic cases or willing to learn within 1 year).
• Ability to work flexible AM/PM charge nurse shifts and adapt to operational needs.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate patient care activities and workflow in the Surgery Center OR.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership; supervise staff and give direction as needed.
• Perform charge nurse duties and assume nursing unit responsibility as directed by supervisor.
• Direct resources and staffing to ensure smooth procedures and patient flow through the OR.
• Mentor staff, train new employees, monitor performance, and adjust coverage to maintain productivity.
