Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a Staff Nurse Leader for the Main Operating Room to coordinate clinical functions and nursing practice. You will design, coordinate, and deliver care for patients undergoing operative procedures while serving as a clinical expert and resource to the OR team.

The role requires a BSN, CNOR certification, and at least three years of perioperative nursing, with leadership experience. Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience demonstrated in recent roles.
• CNOR certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Experience in acute care perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical functions and nursing practice within the Main Operating Room.
• Lead, plan, and evaluate nursing care; act as a clinical resource to staff, physicians, patients and students.
• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients undergoing operative procedures.
