The University of California - Los Angeles Health is seeking an experienced RN to serve as a clinical lead in the Surgery Center Operating Room. You will coordinate patient care activities, provide work direction to the perioperative team, and perform charge nurse responsibilities as directed by supervision.

You will guide staff, ensure smooth patient flow, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Requires BSN or MSN and an active CA RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years OR experience; scrub/circulate orthopedic cases or learn within 1 year.

• Provides work direction to clinical and support staff coordinating resources for procedures and patient flow.
• Supports direct patient care by applying the nursing process to deliver safe, quality care and may perform daily rounding.
• Coordinates the needs of the patient care team and promotes communication among perioperative staff.
• Acts as a resource to employees, including training and orientation, and provides guidance on complex issues with leadership involvement.
• Monitors staffing levels and adjusts to maintain productivity.
