Pacific Endo-Surgical Center is seeking an OR Charge Nurse to lead perioperative staffing and ensure smooth daily case flow. You will supervise clinical staff, coordinate scheduling, prepare monthly staff meetings, and collaborate with physicians to resolve issues.

We require a California RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 3 years of perioperative experience. You will work in a team that emphasizes safety, quality, and patient-centered care within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Three years' experience in perioperative area.
• Current California RN License
• BLS and ACLS required
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Supervises the clinical staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases.
• Assists in coordination of daily/weekly case scheduling to ensure the schedule will flow smoothly.
• Prepares staffing schedules.
• Prepare, coordinate and perform monthly staff meetings for all departments.
• Communicate effectively with physicians to resolve issues and provide efficiency and smooth case flow.
• Reviews equipment needed for cases.
• Coordinate inventory request with the material manager.
• Assists with education by coordinating and/or giving in-services.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve equipment or instrument issues by coordinating ordering or getting repairs done.
• Communicate with vendors and representatives for supplies, equipment or instruments that are needed for cases.
• Works closely with Materials and Sterile Processing Dept to coordinate supplies & instrument needs.
• Assists in preparing annual evaluations
• Works closely with manager/administrator with hiring and orienting clinical staff members
• Assistance in maintaining compliance for AAAHC surveys
• Enters company data collections and observations with company data system.
• Assistance with staff counseling as necessary
• Coordinates and assists in Performance Improvement Projects.
