Job summary

UCI Health seeks a staff nurse leader to coordinate all clinical functions and nursing standards for the Main Operating Room. You will guide OR staff, utilize the nursing process to deliver care for operative cases, and act as a clinical resource for colleagues, physicians, patients and students.

The role requires RN licensure, BSN, and perioperative experience with strong leadership and teaching skills; CNOR preferred. Eligible shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required and RN licensure
• CNOR certification preferred or required per unit standards
• Three+ years of acute perioperative nursing experience
• Ability to lead, teach, and coordinate OR staff and workflows

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical functions and nursing care in the Main Operating Room
• Lead OR staff, plan shifts, and evaluate nursing practices
• Provide direct patient care for operative cases and serve as clinical resource
