Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking an experienced RN Operating Room Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversee surgical services. You will coordinate daily operations, support staff, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, and operational excellence within an on-site operating room setting, with full-time hours and a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical operations in the OR to optimize patient flow.
• Coordinate staffing, assignments and resources for procedures.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Perform active rounds to ensure safety and quality care.
• Mentor staff, provide training, and support performance evaluations.
• Assist with hiring, engagement and conflict resolution as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support budget planning and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
