Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Reviews procedure orders to determine needed materials and supplies.
• Sets up and stocks procedure room and trays, cleans equipment post procedure.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses questions.
• Positions and preps patient for procedures and assists with transfers.
• Assists physician during interventional procedures using fluoroscopy with sterile technique.
