Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a per diem Surgical Tech to join our Denver, CO surgery center. You will assist with prep and setup of the interventional suite, maintain sterile technique, and support physicians during procedures. Prior experience with C-Arm/sterile fields is preferred.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment handling, medication labeling, and post-procedure room care, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and CQI objectives are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification as required by state regulation.
• All appropriate state licensure, and or certification education and training (if any) required.
• 1-2 years' related experience.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
• Experience with interventional equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of procedure room and stock supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique during interventional procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and transfers.
• Assist physician during fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
• Prepare and label medications within scope.
• Maintain equipment and document issues.
• Comply with HIPAA and CQI standards.
• Perform post-procedure room cleaning.
