Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology team member to prepare patients and rooms, set up supplies, and assist physicians during procedures. You will ensure sterile technique, manage materials, and document imaging and patient data per policy.

The role requires ARRT certification and ongoing radiation safety compliance, with strong computer and MS Office skills and the ability to handle equipment like C‑Arm and ultrasound systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; ARRT certification and/or State Licensure per state regulations.
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• Experience with interventional procedures and materials/supplies for each procedure.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine materials and supplies needed for procedures.
• Set up and stock procedure room and trays; clean area post-procedure.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns.
• Assist during procedures as scrub, with fluoroscopy to visualize vessels.
• Position, prep, and transfer patients; input data into C‑Arm.
• Maintain radiation safety and imaging records in accordance with policy.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and re-stock of supplies.
