Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking an Interventional Radiology Assistant to support physicians during procedures and manage the radiology suite.

You will prepare rooms, assist with patient positioning, operate C-Arm equipment, ensure sterile technique, maintain records, and help with inventory and safety protocols.

The role requires High School diploma, ARRT or state licensure, BLS, and 4–6 years of related experience; a strong commitment to quality and patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; ARRT certification or state licensure required.
• Experience with interventional radiology procedures and materials.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
• BLS certification and ability to monitor inventory.
• Proficient with basic computer software including Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and room for radiology procedures per policies.
• Set up and stock procedure rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist physicians during procedures.
• Operate C-Arm and monitor fluoroscopy to aid interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with CQI.
• Assist in training new staff and manage inventory.
• Ensure environmental safety and radiation safety compliance.
