Job summary

The role requires hands-on use of C-Arm and ultrasound equipment, sterile technique, patient prep, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Strong attention to HIPAA, inventory, and CQI processes is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of related experience desirable.
• 1 year experience preferred for ARRT candidates.
• Proficient with interventional equipment including C-Arm and Ultrasound.
• Experience with inventory management and materials/supplies.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine needed materials and supplies.
• Set up and stock procedure room and trays; clean after procedures.
• Explain procedures to patient and address concerns.
• Assist with patient prep and transfers; position patients.
• Input patient data into C-Arm and assist with fluoroscopy.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Maintain medical records and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with inventory and re-stocking.
• Attend CQI meetings and communicate with physicians.
