Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support physicians in complex procedures, ensure quality control of radiology equipment, and manage supplies. You will assist with patient preparation, positioning, and imaging, while maintaining sterile technique and HIPAA compliance.

Strong inventory, documentation, and CQI involvement are expected. Required are ARRT certification/state licensure, 4–6 years of related experience, and proficiency with C-Arm and

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degrees preferred.
• ARRT certification or state licensure required by state regulations.
• Interventional radiology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room per policies and regulations.
• Review orders to determine materials and supplies needed.
• Set up and stock procedure room; assist physician during procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Position and prep patient; perform transfers as needed.
• Input patient data into imaging systems; scrub assist during interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety; monitor equipment.
• Process and archive X-ray images; ensure medical records accuracy.
• Assist with CQI activities and inventory management.
