Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Route 23 in Wayne, NJ. This casual/per diem position offers hours as needed, with early mornings and weekends. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, manage specimen workflows, and provide excellent patient service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preferred 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
