Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Somerset, NJ team. This casual/per diem role involves blood collection, patient interaction, and specimen processing across various sites.

You will travel to additional sites as needed, providing accurate data entry and billing support while delivering excellent service. The position emphasizes phlebotomy certification or training, with a focus on reliability, communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
