Job summary

Labcorp in Succasunna, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist for a casual/per diem role. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens, enter data, and support billing and specimen preparation.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Flexible hours, weekend shifts, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or training; or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• Ability to travel to additional sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
