Job summary

Labcorp in Trenton, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist for a casual/per diem role. Responsibilities include collecting blood via venipuncture and capillary methods, preparing specimens for testing, data entry, and assisting with billing and administrative tasks. Travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
