Job summary

Labcorp in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Milford Street. This casual/per diem role offers variable hours, typically Monday–Friday 6:00am–4:30pm and weekends, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of training; 3 months+ phlebotomy experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system and process billing as needed
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs
• Provide excellent patient service and support travel to additional sites as required
