Job summary

Labcorp in Somerset, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist for casual/per diem work at Patient Service Centers or Client offices. You will perform skilled blood collection, ensure accurate data entry, and provide exceptional customer service across multiple sites. Some overtime and travel may be required, with pay range $17.75–$24 per hour.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months of experience. 6+ months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Flexibility to work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
