Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Per Diem Associate Patient Care Coordinator to support the care team and ensure high-quality patient experiences. You will assist with patient registration, financial information, and coordination across departments to fulfill clinical and service goals.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing documentation, and supporting lean processes while helping maintain accurate records and responsive service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of customer service experience in an office or professional setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 2 shifts in 1st & 2nd shift hours.
• Ability to work 1 weekend shift per month and on-call on 2 holidays per year.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients in person or via phone/video with excellent service.
• Register patients and update demographic and financial information promptly.
• Collect patient liabilities and balance cash daily.
• Coordinate with Financial Counseling, Scheduling, and Clinical teams to complete patient encounters.
• Provide directions and clinic information as requested.
• Maintain audit accuracy and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as needed.
