Optum, in partnership with ProHealth Care, seeks a Per Diem Associate Patient Care Coordinator to support patient reception, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments at campuses within Hospital and Medical Group departments in Mukwonago, WI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a medical/healthcare setting.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work per diem across shifts supporting a 24-hour operation.
• Must be able to commute to 240 Maple Ave, Mukwonago, WI and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics/insurance, maintain accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answer phones, address patient inquiries and delays.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments per provider protocols and patient needs.
• Collect copays and balances, process payments, and reconcile cash transactions.
• Route patient concerns and clinical communications to the care team.
• Support daily clinic operations and EMR data entry and documentation.
