Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a per diem, independent contractor role. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, paid on a per-visit basis with travel expenses reimbursed.

Active RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS registrations, BLS, and reliable transportation are required. Equipment setup and patient safety are prioritized in this dynamic, field-based role.

Competenze

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (e.g. RDCS/RCS plus RVT/RVS) through ARDMS or CCI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.

Mansioni

• Travel to patient homes regionally to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Label images and complete preliminary report with measurements.
