Hawthorne Health, Inc. is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join a per diem, 1099 independent contractor role. Travel regionally to patient homes for in-home imaging, with per-visit pay and travel reimbursements.

Active RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS registrations, BLS, and a valid driver's license are required. Candidates must be able to work independently in field settings and maintain ASE-standard imaging quality.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic field environments.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes to conduct visits, volume varies by region
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
