Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join its Home Network as per diem independent contractors. Travel to patient homes regionally to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging.

Per visit compensation, travel expenses reimbursed; must hold RDCS or RCS plus RVT or RVS; BLS; valid driver's license; ability to work independently in field settings. This is a per diem, 1099 role across the U.S., with flexible scheduling and local/state travel

Qualifications

• Active cardiac imaging registration required.
• Active vascular imaging registration required.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel regionally and work independently in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes for imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards per ASE guidance.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
