Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Per Diem Infusion Nurse to support infusion patients in Gladstone, MO and surrounding areas. The role involves direct patient care, education, and coordination with the care team in home-based settings.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in good standing in KS/MO, with 3+ years nursing experience and infusion therapy skills. Mileage reimbursement, drive time, and flexible scheduling are provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with the State of Kansas and Missouri Boards of Nursing.
• BSN preferred from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, infusion therapy preferred.
• Expertise in peripheral IV (PIV) insertion; 90%+ first-pass success preferred.
• Experience accessing and de-accessing implanted ports (PACs/Port-a-Caths).
• Experience administering diverse infusion therapies (biologics, IV hydration, immunoglobulins).
• Advanced certifications (CRNI, IgCN) preferred but not required.
• ICU/CCU/ED/Oncology/Vascular Access/Cardiac care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Administrative oversight to monitor workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Emergency availability; able to respond to urgent needs; evenings/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office; familiarity with AlayaCare, CPR+, Insight, Concur, Paylocity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for assigned patients, coordinating with pharmacists, prescribers, dietitians and care partners.
• Educate patients and care partners on safely administering home infusion therapy.
• Evaluate home environments and implement interventions for safe care delivery.
• Develop and evaluate the plan of care with the team; adjust as needed.
• Schedule management using company platform; communicate changes promptly.
• Coordinate patient care through approved systems and portals.
• Participate in nurse on-call rotation to ensure continuous support.
• Document all patient encounters and care activities per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of Soleo therapies, protocols and standards.
• Ensure timely POT submissions and required clinical documents per policy.
